Even though it is very isolated, this very private beach is just 30 minutes from the Maurice Bishop International Airport.
There are only twelve rooms at the tiny resort, many of which are spread out in small buildings along the beach. Parents view this as an ideal Caribbean destination, as it is free of the seedier characters that populate Grand Anse. Even more important, the waters of La Sagesse are calm and shallow, making them perfect for exploration.
When you get hungry, you can enjoy the beauty of the ocean with their beautiful beachfront restaurant where they serve fresh fish and lobster, and grow their own vegetables. They also have special wedding packages for that couple looking to tie the knot, and this would be the ideal location for your special day.

2. If you take the boardwalk from the lodge, you’ll soon find yourself enjoying the peace and quiet of one of the world’s most secluded beaches. The beach is actually many miles long, but it is natural and totally undeveloped.
Rocktail Bay boasts some of the best diving in the world, but only one diving boat is allowed on the water at a time. This may create some level of inconvenience for visitors hoping to explore the depths of the gorgeous Maputaland Marine Reserve, but it also ensures that the beach always retains its sense of seclusion.
More importantly, Rocktail Bay’s diving policy preserves the pristine nature of the beach for years to come. Snorkeling may let you see beautiful creatures such as angelfish, butterfly fish, possibly rays, octopii, and even dolphins and whales.
Whether you’re on the hunt for a diving expedition or simply would like to relax on a beautiful hidden beach, Rocktail Bay is definitely worth the travel hassle. Because it is on the verge of a large forest, you can also take drives into the forest in an open Land Rover, or take a great hike and go birding and see other wildlife.
Dinners can be enjoyed indoors or under a large Natal Mahogany Tree.

3. If you’re not in the mood for hiking, you can also access Wildcat Beach by bike, so long as you’re willing to face a difficult seven mile journey.
Whether you prefer biking or hiking, you will definitely have to put in some work before you’re rewarded with the secluded Wildcat Beach.
Once you’ve arrived at Wildcat Beach, you’ll encounter over two miles of stunning natural shoreline. One of the beach’s most popular features is its lovely Alamere Falls, which is 40-feet high and drops down to the beach. Nearby, you’ll also encounter Wildcat Lake, from which you can enjoy amazing views of the beach.
Wildcat Camp is also located near the beach, offering a handful of relatively secluded campsites for anyone looking to stay the night before taking the long trail back from Wildcat Beach. Before staying here, you will need to make reservations in advance.

4. To get there, visitors must hire boat tours. These guided trips typically depart from the harbor of Zakynthos and, when all is said and done, it can cost visitors a pretty penny.
But many would argue that the expense is more than worthwhile, as a boat tour can allow tourists to escape the usual crazy beaches of Greece in favor of a destination that is simultaneously wild, intimate, and very isolated.
You will want to take a hat or umbrella, and some sunscreen, because in the middle of the day there is no shade and the sun can be quite hot. If you want to enjoy fewer people on the tour, the best time to go would be in either May or November.

5. It is a popular destination among naturalists, as its secluded nature allows bird watchers to scout for local species in peace.
If you’re not interested in hiking or bird watching, there’s still plenty to keep you occupied at Ko Adang. If you’re a fan of snorkeling or scuba diving, you should encounter plenty of opportunities for partaking in both activities. There are many untouched colorful coral reefs just off the shore, which many snorkelers enjoy viewing.
Otherwise, if you’re feeling lazy, you can always enjoy relaxing on the destination’s sandy beach. Two waterfalls are not far away that can be reached by hiking. Your ears will enjoy a sense of quiet rarely encountered in Thailand, while your eyes will be party to a gorgeous view of the emerald Andaman Sea. There are no roads on Ko Adang, but you can rent one of several rather new bungalows on the beach.

6. In exchange for pale skin, you’ll be rewarded by the prospect of a completely secluded Danish beach.
Grenen, which is at the northernmost tip of Denmark, boasts a huge sandbar. Just off shore is the place where two seas meet – the Skagerrak and Kattegat. This beach has appeared in numerous paintings, as the nearby town of Skagen has long been a popular destination for the world’s most talented artists.
Thus, if you’re looking to capture some of Europe’s most remarkable scenery, you’d be well advised to do so during a visit to Grenen’s beach.
Unfortunately, while the sandbar is great for painting and sightseeing, it’s not a good place to visit if you’re looking to actually get your feet wet. The reason for this is simple enough when you translate the beach’s name. Carro Quebrado means broken down car – and that’s exactly what you’ll experience if you attempt to access this destination in a conventional manner.
Those fortunate to stumble upon Carro Quebrado’s shores, which is actually about 25 miles north of Carro Quebrado, will encounter white sands, emerald waters and a vast array of colorful stones. From the shores of the beach, you can see spectacular red cliffs along the beach, which a few daring visitors attempt to explore by foot.
Most prefer to remain in the sand, however, perhaps thanks to the presence of a tiny palm-thatched bar, where you can order everything from fresh shrimp to a delightfully cold beer.

9. Rock pools can be interesting to explore.
Polzeath, located just a few miles from Port Isaac, is widely regarded as one of the best surfing beaches in the United Kingdom. The island is also part of a UNESCO site and a natural park.
The beach itself is very unusual because it is actually surrounded by an overhanging rock ledge that opens in a complete circle above it. Most everyone just walks around barefoot all the time. The golf carts can be rented by the hour but you will need to bring pesos because there are no ATM’s here.
The island is 26 miles long and its beaches are very wide. Many of the people in Holbox are fishermen, so you can expect to find fresh seafood in the local restaurants.
Holbox is also the only place in the Yucatan where you can legally get a guide to go scuba-diving to see the whale sharks that regularly pass through the area.
