20 Of The World’s Most Secluded (And Beautiful) Beaches

15. Sandy Beach, Molokai, Hawaiisandy-beach-molokai-depositphotosThe island of Molakai in Hawaii certainly has to be considered a very secluded and out of the way place.
You cannot get there from the mainland, but will have to take a plane from there to go to Maui, and then take another flight to Molakai.
It has several amazingly beautiful beaches on the island and most of them are usually nearly empty.
There is not a single traffic light on the island and a number of the beaches certainly are pristine. The Sandy Beach is the last easily accessible beach on the island.
Although you would most likely find that most of the beaches on the island will not have a lot of people on them, you certainly need to consider the ocean currents before you go in the water. Some of the beaches offer little protection from the currents and waves and they can be dangerous, especially during the winter months.
Other beaches provide some natural shelter which results in calmer and safer water. Sandy Beach is rather well protected and offers a sandy and rocky beach, and it has deeper water closer to shore. This means that it will give you good water for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving, partly because there is also a coral reef offshore. You can also fish here.
There are no amenities around, but you can see the whales from December through May.
